KUBE TV broadcasted in Houston for the first time on September 27, 2010, and is one of nine English-language stations in Houston, and the only English-language independent TV station in Houston.
The KUBE is the only television station in Houston committed to high school sports. In January 2011, Todd Freed’s High School SportZone launched and SEC Basketball debuted. Beginning in the fall of 2011, our Thursday Night Showdown began, featuring the premier high school football matchup every week. The Showdown invokes school spirit like no other, as The KUBE selects the best high school football matchups in the Greater Houston area and not only broadcasts it but we attend in full force, with giveaways, mascots, and the KUBE spirit!
The KUBE broadcasts award winning, family friendly programs and is Mom approved, Dad approved, and advertiser approved, for more on our current programming please view our show page.
As an independent TV station, The KUBE relies on the support of our viewers. We are committed to the Greater Houston area and look for multiple opportunities each year to embrace the community. From movie screening giveaways to convention and event sponsorships, The KUBE strives to be an active part in many community events. The KUBE is proud to “put on” for our great city of Houston. If you have an event you would like The KUBE to cover or participate in, please feel free to email us.
The KUBE is owned by NRJ and operated by Titan Broadcast Management. With over 100 years of broadcast experience, Titan Broadcast is the power behind the KUBE.
